Custom Wood Products is Hiring a Territory Manager Near Topeka, KS

Custom Wood Products is adding a new managerial position to our team!

We are seeking a Territory Manager to oversee our showroom locations, designers, and showroom consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth. Position will be responsible for managing staff in Manhattan, Topeka and Lawrence Showrooms, and will work in each location on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives
  • Manage and lead the sales team to ensure they meet their sales goals and objectives
  • Hire, train, and develop designers, and showroom consultants
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure our products and services remain competitive
  • Analyze sales data and develop reports to provide insights into sales performance and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, production, and customer service to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • Position will have high frequency of day travel each week between Manhattan, St. Marys, Topeka and Lawrence. (Company vehicle with gas card provided)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the custom cabinetry or related industry
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record required
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to work in-person and travel between show rooms required
