Cumberland International Trucks is a full-service dealership offering new truck sales, pre-owned truck sales, parts and service, leasing and rental. Our Truck Sales department in Orlando, FL is in need of a hard-working, motivated and upbeat Truck Sales Porter to facilitate the cleanliness of new and used truck inventory. This position will assist other departments as necessary and as time allows; the role is crucial to achieving the highest customer satisfaction and dealer profitability by performing his/her duties in accordance with current vendor and our company’s policies and procedures.

About the Role:
Position Title: Truck Sales Porter
Pay: Hourly
Department: Truck Sales
Reports To: Truck Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

• Properly complete each task as assigned by the Sales Manager.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
• Immediately report to supervision or management any shop equipment that is malfunctioning or that requires maintenance.
• Ensure that the trash and any associated waste from reconditioning is taken out in a timely manner.
• Possess the ability to move new/used trucks in and out of the wash bay.
• Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.
• Maintain shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Always maintain a highly professional appearance. Uniforms (as designated by management) will be properly worn and maintained.
• Maintain the wash bay area and ensure a clean work environment.
• Update Sales Manager prior to the end of the shift the status of the work that was performed.
• Any other duties as outlined by the Sales Manager and or management of the company.

Qualifications:

• Some degree of product and truck dealership knowledge is desired.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and the Cumberland team.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must conduct oneself in a professional manner.
• Must be flexible to tasks assigned, including when there are no trucks to wash, detail, or recondition.
• Possess a valid driver license, a CDL license or the ability to obtain a CDL license and clean driving record. CDL is not mandatory to be considered for the position.

Performance Goals:

• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Ensure new and used trucks are clean, undamaged and presentable for customers and prospects.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is important.
• Maintain professional and respectful behavior with employees and customers, etc.

Physical Requirements:

• To wash and detail trucks, must be able to stoop, bend, climb, crawl, lift and reach.
• Able to utilize a ladder to reach the top of trucks.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a hot or cold environment.
• Able to work in a wet or humid environment.
• Able to work in a moderately noisy environment.
