Cuhaci & Peterson Architects is Hiring a Construction Administrator II (On Site) Near Orlando, FL

Description

General: The Construction Administrator II assists with the construction administration phase. 

Requirements: Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering or seven years construction or inspection services experience. MS Office Suites to include MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. OSHA 30 Certification.

Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Assists with Construction Administration activities on projects, monitors project for construction document compliance. 
  • Assists with establishing project procedures, problem solving activities, budget reviews and certification needed.
  • Initiates document revisions, project reviews and processes changes orders.
  • Oversees test reports. 
  • Assists with the preparation of punch-list and close-out procedures and performs post-construction services and investigations as needed.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
  • Should be a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, able to handle stressful situations and multi-tasking, able to work under time constraints, long hours may be required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Overtime (40 hours) may be required as needed. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to handle stressful situations, multi-tasking, and working within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets. Will work in normal office environment and may also be required to work outside of a normal office from time-to-time.
