Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company.

Supervisory Responsibilities: · None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Receiving, verifying, and recording the receipt of invoices.

· Organize and process payable batches

· Code vendor invoices to the appropriate GL accounts and attached the corresponding invoices.

· Process check disbursement, match vouchers with invoices, and mail disbursement and remittance documentation.

· Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.

· Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities.

· Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.

· Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

· Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities & meet deadlines

· Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma required

· Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook & Word

· Prior Accounting experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
