Assistant Nurse Manager - Hospital; White Plains, NY
cTrace Solutions has a great opportunity to be a part of our growing team! We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager for the Labor & Delivery 6E department. SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000

Requirements of the Assistant Nurse Manager:
- Current NY State License
- BSN required
- BLS certification (through American Heart Association) required
- ACLS certification (through American Heart Association) preferred unless required by employees in the department supervised then the certification is required
- Certification in area of specialty, or CNML (Certified Nurse Manager & Leader) preferred, but must be obtained within 3 years of hire date.
- Demonstrates a basic knowledge of management skills
- Previous management/leadership experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years relevant acute care experience
- Ability to function as a staff RN
Responsibilities of the Assistant Nurse Manager:
- Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
- Develops and submits departmental goals and objectives that are aligned with the Nursing and hospital strategic plans as required by the Division Administrator.
- Conducts Interviews, hires, evaluates, counsels and terminates employees as per hospital policy.
- Schedules staff based on budgeted staffing plan and department needs.
- Updates FTE component of staffing budgets on a continuous basis
- Develops and submits operating and capital budgets and reports variances as required to the Division Administrator and more.
