A renowned Magnet-designated hospital in White Plains is searching for an Assistant Nurse Manager for its Labor and Delivery Unit. In this role, you will assist the Nurse Manager with overseeing the daily operations within the department, including developing department goals and objectives that align with the hospital’s mission and strategic plan, managing personnel, and preparing/monitoring department budgets.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Maintain 24-hour responsibility for nursing care provided in the unit.
• Assure the delivery of quality department and clinical services.
• Manage the full-time employee component of staffing budgets.
• Participate in the Performance Improvement Program.
• Work collaboratively with all levels of the hospital’s interdisciplinary teams.
• Support hospital initiatives and projects and function as a positive change agent.

Qualifications:

• A BSN is required.
• Active RN License.
• 2 years of acute care experience
• Prior management experience is preferred.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Schedule: 4x10, evenings
• Compensation: $120,000-$160,000, depending on experience.
