Role: Marketing Assistant

Reports to: Marketing Director

Position Type: Salary, Exempt

Compensation: Depending on experience

​Essential Duties:The marketing assistant supports the marketing team with planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs, and with the development of new marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Research target markets, competition, service life cycles, client satisfaction, opportunities, etc.
• Help plan/coordinate marketing activities and special events.
• Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers, PR, etc.)
• Technical writing (e.g. résumes, boiler plate information, project descriptions, posts, etc.)
• Acquire critical information from estimating and operations staff to develop curated proposal sections.
• Collect/generate content that supports annual editorial campaigns.
• Collect and maintain essential business data both internally and across external channels.
• Actively involved in professional and community organizations including SMPS

• Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.

• Produce high-quality, brand-relevant deliverables.

• Familiarity with other marketing tools – SurveyMonkey, Canva, MailChimp, Hootsuite
• Familiarity with a variety of social media marketing channels and best practices​
• Professional demeanor that reflects highly on CT Wilson’s brand and culture

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 to 3 years of experience recommended.
• Without a degree, 3 to 5 years of relevant A/E/C or other industry-related experience
• Recommended: Preparation to earn the Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 0-25 pounds constantly, 25-75 pounds frequently.
• Constant time spent sitting or standing.
• Constant time spent at a computer screen and typing.

Preferred capabilities:

• Graphics/Photography/Digital Marketing/Writing skills a plus
