Global Teaching Partners is Hiring a Social Media and Marketing Specialist Near Durham, NC

Global Teaching Partners is an officially authorized U.S. Department of State J-1 Visa Exchange Visitor Program Sponsor who facilitates the recruitment, vetting process, placement, and ongoing support of Global Educators. Global Educators are professionally credentialed, experienced international teachers who participate in an intensive application and interview process prior to their placement with one of Global’s District Partners.

Global Teaching Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media and Marketing specialist to join our team. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of various social media platforms and marketing techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to promote brand visibility, engagement, and growth across various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
  • Develop and manage company website content.
  • Create, curate, and publish high-quality content (including text, image, and video) that aligns with brand voice, values, and objectives for both external and internal audiences on social media platforms and company website.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and partner/educator feedback, and respond promptly to inquiries, comments, and messages.
  • Develop a comprehensive international marketing strategy.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives. Utilize insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Create, curate, and publish a quarterly newsletter.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of messaging, campaigns, and promotions on social media platforms and company website.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging social media and digital marketing technologies, and recommend innovative strategies to enhance brand presence and engagement.
  • Develop various partnership listservs.
  • Collaborate with the Teacher Recruitment Team to assist in the development of a yearly recruitment plan.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing/social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and proficiency in Canva.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative
  • Organized, with an attention to detail
  • Professional communicator, with strong writing skills
  • Team player, willing to adapt as needed
  • Personable, ready to engage with others

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000

  • Medical Insurance, Vision, Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability (after 60 days)
