CSWI w/Subsidiaries is Hiring a Business Development Manager- Oil & Gas Near Rockwall, TX

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new customers/distributors around the Oil & Gas industry, with a specific emphasis on the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) markets
  • Manage existing distributors in the region to maintain and grow relationships across all of our brands.
  • Utilize company CRM tool to manage pipeline of opportunities.
  • Work through all stages of the sales process to win business.
  • Utilize marketing tools and resources to generate leads.
  • Provide sales training and field support to distributors, customers, and partners as needed.
  • Collect competitive intelligence and report to Whitmore management to help drive success with company programs, products, service, etc.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to internal and external customers.
  • Identify and participate as an exhibitor in applicable Industry trade shows and conferences.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic customers and Field Warehouses.
  • Seek ways to grow the volume of products purchased by customers.
  • Offer/propose additional products to expand the relationship through cross selling.
  • Manage price and profit margin within portfolio.
  • Act as the single point of contact for quotes, questions, applications, contracts, etc.
  • Manage the relationship and ensure we have 5 contacts with each customer.
  • Support distributor salespeople in sales process to win deals.
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Fluid sales experience in the Oil & Gas market sector.
  • 10 years’ sales experience.
  • Ability to travel regionally >50%.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and superb communication skills with the ability to consultatively demonstrate our products highlighting their benefits/advantages/features to our customers.
  • Ability to work professionally with all levels from corporate to field employees.
  • Ability to work independently and strong organizational skills to manage time, territory, and resources effectively.
  • Strong follow-through skills to close leads and action items.
