This position is 100% on site. Initially, work will be performed in central Albuquerque near the intersection of Rio Grande Blvd and Candelaria Rd. Within one year, the work location will change to the Albuquerque International Airport (Sunport). The employee must be capable of working on site at both locations.
Job Summary
Act as the “face of the organization”, working front office/reception area interacting with all customers and third parties. Presents a highly professional demeanor and demonstrates competence at all times. Perform routine clerical and administrative functions. Perform mid-level administrative support as assigned, including handling sensitive information, conducting research and responding to information requests. An important additional duty for this position involves receipt, processing, scheduling and revising business travel requests for company employees. Travel coordination duties may comprise as much as 20% of the work for this position.
Essential Tasks/Functions:
· Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
· Answer front door/desk and direct visitors to appropriate persons.
· Receive, process, schedule and revise travel plans (airfare, lodging, rental car, etc.) for company employees in accordance with company travel policies and procedures.
· Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems.
· Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
· Coordinate office services, such as processing outgoing and incoming mail and deliveries, ordering supplies, records management and housekeeping.
· Issue company owned uniforms and equipment to new employees, collect at end of employment.
· Manage paper and electronic filing systems holding records, correspondence, or other materials.
· Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, correspondence, reports, informational or reference materials and presentations, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
· Contribute to development of organizational policies or programs.
· Set up and oversee administrative policies and procedures.
· Interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees.
· Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures.

Background: Must pass a background investigation
Experience: Prior Administrative Experience. Customer Service working with internal and external customers.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web-based travel booking systems
