CRS is looking for E.I.T.s for several disciplines including water resources/water drainage, site development, and transportation engineering. Candidates should be comfortable proactively working with other staff to continue to grow our practice.
This position performs professional and technical engineering work to assist in coordinating and participating in the design, development, and construction of various projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or approaching graduation)
• E.I.T. / 0-4 years of civil engineering experience and actively pursuing licensure
• Strong written communication skills required for writing in a technical format
• In collaboration with staff engineers, must be able to design general engineering solutions
• Must be detailed and quality oriented
• Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently and maintain flexibility to changes in work assignments as changes occur in project
• Experience with AutoCAD and full Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with MicroStation InRoads not required but a plus
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities of standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications and verify that they are complete, accurate and in accordance with best engineering practices
• Assist in the preparation of calculations for cost estimates and other supporting documentation for a variety of engineering projects
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships and work in a team environment
• Work within a team to respond to comments and meet project deadlines
