Crown Technical Systems is Hiring a Supply Chain Planner Near Fontana, CA
Description
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for managing and executing all coordination and communication between the primary and satellite production facility to ensure on-time subassembly part delivery.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the primary Master Scheduler to evaluate delivery date requirements
- Work collaboratively with production schedules to evaluate capacity and delivery requirements
- Work collaboratively with satellite production manager to assess production capacity and schedules
- Assist with creation and distribution of shipping related documentation
- Review and distribute project documents; follows up with internal teams and clients for required documents
- Liaison between production facilities on technical or quality related topics including emails and other correspondence between primary facility and satellite locations
- Review and manage inventory levels at satellite production facility to ensure target levels are maintained
- Ensure system transactions are completed as required to maintain data integrity on POs, Inventory and Job costing
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects while meeting required deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish Required
Experience/Education:
- Associated Degree in Business Administration or related field. Experience may substitute in lieu of a degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing / Planning
- Previous experience working in Import/export related industry a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to traverse the production floor as needed.
