Duties:
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
- Work with the team to maintain proper overhead.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections
- Prepare financial reports and budgets for review by senior management
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable laws and regulations
- Assist with human resources functions such as employee onboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an office manager or similar role
- Knowledge of dental office management systems such as Dentrix and Dental Intel
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare compliance requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with fiscal management, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Knowledge of dental insurance systems is desirable
