Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records when required
- Provide patient education and instructions

-Prepare patient charts and help file when needed

-Comfortable with giving pediatric vaccines and PKU heelsticks

Requirements:
-Ability to work 40 hour workweek consistently, abide by accrued time off, and commute reliably

-High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program preferred
- Certification as a medical assistant preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and paper charts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a reasonable-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
