Job Synopsis:
- The ideal Registered Nurse (RN) holds previous management experience in a large medical center, ideally in a Endoscopy or Operating Room.
- Participate in the development of Endoscopy RN staff including: mentoring, coaching, discipline, hiring, training, etc.
- Determine priorities for the unit in consideration to department budget, patient care, etc.
- Lead the environment to be an environment of mutual respect and patient-centered care.
- Communicate effectively and collaboratively with all members of management and staff.
- Ensure patient care is priority, assist with patients as needed, provide coaching and guidance to staff nurses.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN, Masters preferred.
- State of MA RN License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
- 5 years of endoscopy experience required
- 2 years of management experience required
- Demonstrated management experience in a busy teaching hospital, strongly preferred.
