The ideal candidates will be trained professionals that can provide top-level service, tomatch the level of cuisine and the quality of product we serve. We are looking for individuals who communicate well, are dependable, and enthusiastic. Thecandidates will have a passion for food and beverage equally, and understand how to read a guest properly to ensure quality service, leaving a lasting impression and memorable experience. 

MAIN DUTIES: 

• Serving experience in an upscale market 

• Strong knowledge in food and beverage (wine and champagne knowledge is a plus) 

• Manual handling 

· Able to work well under pressure during times of high volume service 

· Exceptional upselling techniques 

· To ensure all allergies procedures are followed at all times 

REQUIREMENTS: 

· Experience as a Room Service or a Server in a hotel or fine dining restaurant 

· Knowledge of Micros POS System 

· Highly organized 

· Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, week days, weekends and holidays 

· Work in Mini Bar when necessary 

· To have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations 

· To take personal responsibility for punctuality
