Responsibilities

We are seeking a mission-focused Information Assurance Analyst to support a high visibility project, responsible for supporting cloud risk management and assessment and authorization (A&A) processes for a customer cloud application portfolio.

This role is hybrid and requires 2-3 days a week on-site in Washington, DC.

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

• Supporting the software application review process, as requested for the OCIO application portfolio including mobile, SharePoint, .NET, Salesforce applications.
• Support A&A process for FedRAMP applications, collect artifacts, validate compliance, and prepare RMF packages.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholder engineering teams to demonstrate the implementation of security compliance control implementations for technical, management, and operational requirements.
• Review security controls to ensure compliance with EOP requirements.
• Support the development of technical material, operational processes, security policies, and other core documents.
• Manage compliance metrics.
• Manage and track Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).

Qualifications

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent degree.
• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance or TS with SCI eligibility 
• 4 years of related experience
• Experience writing technical documentation and knowledge of Cloud and Security concepts (including FIPS 199, NIST 800 Series REV 4, FISMA A&A, continuous monitoring, and POA&M management)
• Experience with writing, editing, and/or managing a wide variety of IT security documentation and familiarity with federal IT security standards
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP (Federal Risk Authorization Management Program), FISMA (Federal Information Systems Management Act), NIST RMF (Risk Management Framework), Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)
• Hands on experience supporting Systems Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) for Federal Agencies
• Experience interviewing subject matter experts and using knowledge to develop, edit, and revise documentation including standard operating procedures, system security plans, and policies and procedures.
