Position Summary

Under the direction of the Sr. HR Business Partner, the Human Resources Representative provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations and maintaining a positive and organized work environment. Provides primary administrative support for Production and Vineyard teams. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with various aspects of the onboarding and offboarding process, including handling paperwork for new hires and departures, specifically focusing on H2A and seasonal harvest hiring.
  • Assist the Sr. HR Business Partner in compiling required information for annual H2A contracts and the coordination of housing inspections. 
  • Organize and maintain electronic employee personnel files.
  • Assist with recruiting process; job postings, schedules interviews, coordinates pre-employment process. 
  • Initial point of contact for Production and Vineyard employee inquiries and provides support as appropriate. 
  • Codes HR invoices in Business Central and works with accounting to route invoices. 
  • Administers the Service Award Program ensuring timely receipt of all materials.
  • Prepares the monthly employee birthday and service anniversaries calendar.
  • Responsible for tracking employee training completion in ADP.
  • Manage and maintain the Emergency Alert Systems (EAS). 
  • Manage the Human Resources inbox daily, responds to or routes emails. 
  • Orders and distributes annual regulatory labor law posters for all sites.
  • Administers the processing of workers’ compensation claims and generates/distributes OSHA 300 logs.
  • Administers Leaves of Absence under the direction of the HR Business Partners. 
  • Administers security door system at Pine Ridge and other properties as needed. 
  • Provide support with Spanish translations and assist in coordinating meetings as needed.
  • In conjunction with the EComm team, assists with the company quarterly wine benefit program.
  • Offers support for company events and initiatives including the coordination of executive holiday gifts, harvest celebrations and board meetings.
  • Maintains order and organization in the supply room. 
  • Assist HR Team with special projects and other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate degree desirable.
  • Years of Experience: A minimum of three years in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills: able to manage priorities and workflow with ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor assisting customers, both on the phone and in person. 
  • Strong customer service skills to effectively handle employee inquiries in a resourceful and efficient manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.

The projected pay range for this position is $28 to $33 per hour in addition to the annual bonus. This is the projected compensation for the position however the actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as (but not limited to) candidate qualifications, related experience and education, candidate work location and market data. Crimson Wine Group reserves the right to modify the pay range/rate at any time in the future.
