Crestwood Hills Preschool is a small non-profit cooperative preschool in West Los Angeles, CA. We are located in the gorgeous Crestwood Hills Park surrounded by nature. We have 45 families at our school, 12 teachers and involved parents. We have been around since 1953 as a play-based, developmental, child-centered school.
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Director to oversee the operations of our preschool program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the educational program, managing staff, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children. **Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement educational programs that align with state regulations and promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children. - Manage day-to-day operations of the preschool, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting. - Conduct strategic planning to enhance the quality of the preschool program and meet enrollment goals. - Provide leadership and guidance to staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment. - Oversee curriculum development, assessment, and improvement initiatives. - Maintain compliance with licensing requirements and safety regulations. - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and community stakeholders to foster positive relationships. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred. - Proven experience in education administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to effectively manage budgets and resources. - Demonstrated success in strategic planning and program development.
