Coordinating and assisting with month-end and quarter closes, working closely with the Controllers
Performs financial reporting functions including supporting schedules for the preparation of companies' audited financial statements and footnotes.
Prepares monthly and quarterly financial statements and internal reporting workbooks.
Provides support and assistance to the external auditors in connection with the audits.
Coordinate with accounting and finance personnel for the preparation and tie-out of supporting materials for Board packages and management review.
Assist in the design of reports and processes that enhances the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of reports.
Perform monthly detailed analysis of property performance including variance explanations.
Provide standard and ad-hoc analyses as needed, including balance sheet reconciliations, annual impairment testing analysis, and assist in maintaining depreciation/amortization schedules.
Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for Ad hoc reporting and special projects, mostly related to acquisitions.
Financial Reporting Analyst Skills:
Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand accounting impact and implications of transactions and perform complex reconciliations of large volumes of data.
Strong organizational and collaboration skills required to manage multiple, concurrent tasks, as well as the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment to meet strict deadlines.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

Financial Reporting Analyst Required Education and Experience:
2 years of public accounting experience, preferably with experience in auditing publicly-traded companies.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
