Accounts Receivable Specialist
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounting team in their Columbus office. This position will be responsible for assisting with day to day accounting responsibilities, providing financial, administrative and clerical assistance to the company. This position will process and monitor incoming payments and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- The Accounts Receivable Specialist will process accounts receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
- Preparing bills receivables, invoices and bank deposits
- The Accounts Receivable Specialist will reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted and verify discrepancies
- Assist in preparing financial statements
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, being responsive to email requests and other internal communications
Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable and Accounting experience
- Proficient data entry skills and extensive excel experience
- Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures in a timely manner
- The Accounts Receivable Specialist will have excellent verbal and written communication skills
