Our client, a prestigious area financial services organization, I currently seeking a Director Accounting Policy as a newly created role.

About the Director Accounting Policy role

• The Director Accounting Policy will be fully involved in researching, maintaining and making recommendations on new accounting pronouncements.
• Research STAT Accounting pronouncements.
• Implemented new accounting pronouncements and provide technical guidance on transactions such as M&A and tax.
• Ongoing monitor and communicate new accounting standards to the group.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Director Accounting Policy:

• CPA is required.
• Experience working in the insurance industry as a technical accounting professional.
