Position Summary

As the Lead Technical Consultant, you'll play a critical role in spearheading the development of our Digital Communications Hub (DCH), a central platform to unify company digital services with third-party channels. Guided by the CTO and in collaboration with digital solutions teams and business stakeholders, you'll lead a team to create a secure, scalable communication hub, ensuring alignment with our strategic vision and fostering innovation in our digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the development of the Digital Communications Hub (DCH), ensuring seamless integration between the company's digital platform services and third-party communication channels.
• Design and implement user interfaces using Angular v15, focusing on creating a robust, user-friendly platform for centralized communication.
• Develop and maintain backend services utilizing .NET 6 and MySQL to support platform functionalities, including data handling and processing.
• Manage authentication and authorization processes through Auth0, ensuring secure access and data protection.
• Oversee the deployment and operation of the DCH on cloud services, including AWS and Azure, leveraging their capabilities for scalability and reliability.
• Apply knowledge of low-code/no-code platforms to enhance development efficiency and enable rapid prototyping and deployment.
• Integrate and configure third-party communication channels like Twilio for comprehensive communication solutions, including SMS and voice services.
• Implement comprehensive logging, session management, and error handling mechanisms to monitor platform performance and ensure reliability.
• Guide the team through the end-to-end delivery process within an agile team model, promoting collaboration, quick iteration, and continuous feedback.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the DCH project, liaising between stakeholders, the development team, and third-party service providers to ensure project alignment with business goals.
• This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of digital communication technologies and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, experience with the specified technologies and platforms, and a proven track record of leading successful projects in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio in developing scalable platforms, particularly in digital communications.
• Expertise in front-end development with Angular v15 and backend development with .NET 6 and MySQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including deployment and operational management.
• Proficient in implementing authentication and authorization with tools like Auth0.
• Experience with integrating and managing third-party communication services like Twilio.
• Demonstrated ability to work with low-code/no-code platforms for efficient development and deployment.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience leading teams in an agile environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• A track record of successful agile team management, showing the ability to meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
