Accounts Payable Associate
Salary Range: $50,000 - $58,000

We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join an exciting team in Oswego, NY. As an integral part of the finance department, you'll be responsible for handling accounts payable services across multiple locations. Reporting directly to the Controller, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting general office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process accounts payable invoices from various sources
• Enter invoice data into Quickbooks and resolve any payment issues promptly
• Coordinate with offsite locations for necessary approvals
• Conduct weekly review of accounts payable files for payment selections by the Controller
• Execute weekly check runs while adhering to internal procedures
• Maintain organized filing of accounts payable documents
• Assist in audits and other finance-related tasks as required
• Contribute to Medicaid and Medicare cost reporting efforts
• Research and optimize vendor relationships for efficiency
• Cross-train with the accounts payable team to ensure coverage and support as needed
• Provide general office support including answering phones and assisting team members

Requirements:

• Prior experience in accounts payable and invoicing
• Proficiency in Quickbooks and other relevant accounting software
• Ability to process check runs accurately and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
