Job Role Description

Accounting support activities

• Check payable invoices against delivery notes fed back from goods receiving & prepare for payment entry.
• Highlight any price variances to P.O. for the Cost Accounts Manager/Engineer to review.
• Assist the Cost Accounts Manager in the execution of their role & help with Sales Invoicing when required.

Material control activities

• Collate & Issue orders to suppliers for Office & general consumable materials.
• Collate & Issue orders to suppliers for Workshop consumable & stock replenishment materials (when required)
• Assist with stock control & the yearly stock take.
• Raise delivery notes for goods ready to be shipped.
• Handle material returns notes & associated documentation.
• Arrange transport/courier collection & dispatch of goods where necessary, both in the UK & Worldwide.

General office activities

• Maintain & update & manage time clock system (Proxy Time), for all current D&G personnel.
• Process time clock data/time sheets (retrieved from time clock machine), Input weekly hours in SAP B1.
• General Office duties (Answering the phone, Filing etc.)
• Execute & maintain various HR/Health & Safety records, to ensure up to date Company compliance.
• SAP B1 data entry & housekeeping as required. Existing working knowledge of SAP B1 – ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning software), would be advantageous but is not essential. On the job training will be provided.
• The person filling this role needs to be prepared to assist with any other reasonable task required
