JOB SUMMARY:

Manages and provides coverage of surveillance for the entire Casino facility. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Coyote Valley Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Value Statement of the Coyote Valley Casino.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties may be assigned:

1. Possess knowledge of policies and procedures from all departments.

2. Provides complete training of all surveillance personnel in all phases of their duties.

3. Manages and supervises department personnel.

4. Operates all surveillance equipment.

5. Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies.

6. Maintains proper paperwork and log sheets, and develops an annual budget.

7. Shall be responsible for evaluations of all Surveillance employees and completing them in a timely manner.

8. Shall be responsible for any disciplinary/counseling action on employees in violation.

9. Verify and approve all payroll time sheets.

10. Communicate regularly with employees and keep them informed of all activities and events.

11. Conduct self always in a manner that reflects credit on the casino and encourage others to do the same.

12. Must consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service to customers and employees, and represent the casino in a friendly and professional manner.

13. Shall cooperate with the Coyote Valley Gaming Commission to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations of the Coyote Valley Casino.

14. Must maintain a good attendance record.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have good management skills.

2. Must have a working knowledge of computers.

5. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

6. High School Diploma or GED equivalent

7. Three (3) years’ experience in an organizational management position

8. Three (3) years’ Casino experience, preferably working in Surveillance.

9. Experience with computers/networks, camera(s) and camera wiring, and monitoring equipment.

10. A thorough knowledge and understanding of all casino pit games and casino operations.

11. Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.

12. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

13. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hand to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

1. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate loud.

2. Must be able to work in an intense environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform the required job duties.

Other:

1. Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
