Company DescriptionGrowing manufacturer of heavy equipment components is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to handle manufacturing projects.Job DescriptionEstimator to manage metal forming and fabrication projects, working with clients to determine specifications, coordinate with engineering and production, and build cost and timeline estimates. Responsibilities will include:Working with clients to determine needsReverse engineer components for manufacturePrepare quantity takeoffs for projectsPrepare cost estimates for material, labor and equipmentPrepare proposals for jobsOversee CAD drafters developing project drawings and documentsOrder and expedite material purchasesSchedule fabrication operationsWork with Plant Manager to coordinate manufacturingQualifications3-5 yrs. in a manufacturing environmentsASME, BSME or equivalent experience preferredAbility to read blueprintsKnowledge of fabication & manufactirng equipment (cutting, welding, forming, etc.)Strong math skillsExcellent written & oral communication skillsU.S. Citizen or Green Card holderAdditional InformationPerks:Well established company Competitive pay and benefits packagesPlenty of career growth opportunities
