As an Assistant Project Manager you will oversee and manage Clinical Pharmacology trials conducted at Labcorp clinical research sites and/or data services projects under leadership direction. Projects may also include low complexity full service trials of moderate financial value.
The Associate Project Manager will be the primary client contact.
Responsibilities associated with this role:
- Responsible for the facilitation of communication, managing client expectations, and building business relationships
- Contribute to the development and management of the protocol, budget, timeline and quality guidelines for projects
- Ensure that expectations are met while identifying and mitigating risks
- Contribute to strategic relationships by monitoring and reporting project Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Contribute to bid defense and other business development activities
- Managing the project team in a matrix environment with support as needed from a more senior CPS team member
The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $99,000 per annum (this comprises base salary 10% super)

Education/Qualifications:
- University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession (i.e. nursing, medical or laboratory technology) from an appropriately accredited institution
Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant clinical research experience in a pharmaceutical company/CRO, including at least one (1) year of project management responsibility
- Working knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP including international regulatory requirements for the conduct of clinical development programs
- Experience managing projects in a matrix and virtual environment
- Financial awareness and ability to actively utilize financial tracking systems
- PMP certification would be preferred
