Position Summary:

This individual is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing all revenue-related opportunities in the hotel(s) assigned. Actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize all revenue opportunities. Achieves personal and team-related revenue goals for the hotel(s).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall account management, business generation, and sales prospecting for assigned hotel property.
• Responds to all sales inquiries in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency.
• Develops and maintains marketing plan and sales budget with the Vice President of Sales.
• Provides sales training to staff of hotel as applicable.
• Participates in Revenue Management strategies using such tools as Star reports, demand analysis and applicable front office systems.
• Schedules and completes sales appointments.
• Conducts a required number of sales activities including telemarketing, cold calls, e-mailing and prospecting.
• Manage existing and new client relationships, support revenue management efforts and work with all hotel departments to deliver a positive experience for the guests and groups.
• Responsible for completing sales functions of the assigned hotel including soliciting accounts to meet or exceed hotel revenue goals.
• Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales data.
• Completes requests of General Manager and other management personnel, as applicable.
• May supervise Sales Manager position in the future. Duties include selection, training, development, and appraising performance as well as planning and directing work assignments of personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Comply with attendance and all other policies outlined in the employee handbook.
• This position requires three (3) days per week on property. Remaining days can be worked remote.

Job Requirements

• Experience with FOSSE, MARSHA, and STS is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and perform basic computer functions, including MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Two years minimum Hotels Sales experience with Marriott preferred.
• Strong Hotel Sales experience.
• Proficiency in Revenue Management strategies.
