An experienced food and beverage leader, who is able to inspire their team to achieve desired results in all areas; guest service excellence, associate excellence, product quality and financial results.
In this role, you will be responsible for all food and beverage production and service for the property as directed by hotel/company leadership. This position is a strategic partner who helps the property achieve its goals by being an advocate, leader, and champion for inspiring achievement in the food & beverage team. The F&B Manager supervises our front of house and back of house teams for our Bistro and bar, as well as banquets when applicable for the property. The F&B Manager must harmonize the culture, mission, values, and quality standards to ensure maximum potential is achieved. This person must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures the engagement of employees, guests, and owners. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol standards.
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, handling objects and equipment to help maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment found in that of a hotel/kitchen environment.
Four year degree from college or technical school OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three (3) or more years of experience in a food and beverage leadership role in a comparable hotel environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, motivate and develop others.
