**Overview:**

The Courtyard by Marriott Akron Fairlawn is seeking a skilled customer focused Hotel Manager to support the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and possess excellent leadership skills.

**Duties:**

- Manage all aspects of the hotel including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk operations

- Supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training as needed

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue

- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures

- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met

- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures

- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for necessary services

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of human resources practices and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

- Bilingual proficiency is a plus

- Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures, and phone etiquette

- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building and motivation

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
