At CourtAvenue, the Director, Business Innovations acts as our client’s partner, understanding their business needs and championing them within CourtAvenue. The Director, BI assumes full responsibility for their accounts, strategically guiding the business and providing innovative and valuable input to help solve the most complex challenges. This person is also deeply connected to clients and teams, building meaningful and constructive relationships across both organizations that produce results.

Responsibilities:

For this particular role, we are looking for an account lead comfortable in Shopper Marketing, with eCommerce experience included.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 6 years of related experience as an Account Director, Account Supervisor or Sr. Account Executive, preferably in a Shopper Marketing agency, consultancy or marketing services firm
  • Experience working with national brands planning new campaigns
  • Experience activating national brand campaigns across retailers, with nuances of each retailer taken into account
  • Proven experience in account management, including experience leading small and large accounts and overseeing account teams (directly or project based)
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong desire and ability to build meaningful relationships
  • Experience identifying business development opportunities and translating them into actionable growth opportunities
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple programs and/or projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to think on our feet. We have a strong sense of commitment to getting the job done quickly, properly and with the highest quality
  • Ability to negotiate in a way that delivers mutually-beneficial results
  • Able to navigate conflict and difficult situations with grace that also focuses on a positive outcome
Work Environment:
  • Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees work in an office environment in the middle of the week and remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Candidates for this position will ideally be located near our office in Cincinnati or Minneapolis. Candidates located in Bentonville, Austin or San Diego will also be considered.
