County of Richland, SC is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Columbia, SC
The purpose of the class is to perform routine-to-moderately complex technical accounting work in the processing of accounts payable for the County, and to perform a variety of other clerical and bookkeeping tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting records. This class works according to some procedures but decides how or when to do things; work is reviewed regularly by supervisor.
Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by formal training, special courses or self-education that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education or specialized advanced training in accounting or a closely related field. Must possess a valid state driver"s license. Requires over one year and up to and including two years.
