Accounts Receivable Clerk
What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Clerk within our CLC division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will compile and maintain accounts receivable records. You will report directly to the Accounting Director and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.
How We Work
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
  • Assigned workspace in Wichita, KS
  • Company-issued equipment
  • Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Applying payments and making adjustments to customer accounts
  • Researching and solving payment discrepancies
  • Auto invoice imports; verifying posting detail, notifying CFG and reconcile any differences with Accounting or IT departments
  • Responsible for A/R recon reports; tying reports to posting details and reconciling any differences with Accounting or IT departments
  • Completing credit references for new customers
  • Creating reference letters, faxing letters to references, and maintaining reference log
  • Completing credit reference inquiries and researching customer data
  • Responsible for reporting average collection time reports, adjustable fees report, credit card invoicing, and reconciliation of financials
  • Maintaining all accounts receivable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate account files
  • Assist the Finance Director as necessary
  • Preparing analysis of accounts, filing, and copying
  • Performing other duties as assigned by Finance Director
Qualifications & Skills
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge and proficiency in excel and Microsoft Office required – experience with pivot tables & formulas, VLOOKUP
  • Will need to learn oracle, iConnect system, Talon both AR and AP, Great Plains
  • Ad hoc reporting as requested by supervisor
  • Detail Oriented – Accuracy is essential
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of basic accounting. No degree required, but accounting experience necessary
  • Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitoring own work to ensure quality
