Title: Bookkeeper

Pay: $33/hr

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm

Location: Fort Worth/Alliance

Job Duties:

• Leading operations of the accounting department which includes, accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll.
• Conduct semi- monthly payroll, operating expense and overhead analysis to improve operating efficiencies and expense leverage
• Strong knowledge in customer invoicing
• Providing tracking and analysis for product launch and targeted growth initiatives
• Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions
• Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations, & G/L analysis
• Transportation Margin reports, vendor list audit.
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
• Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
• Complying with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation
• Focus on tax compliance, state business registration, contract review
• Providing the management team with information vital to the decision-making process
• Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
• Providing analysis and regular status reports on results of key activities and initiatives
• Support cycle count and annual physical inventory processes

Qualifications:

• Must have QuickBooks Desktops knowledge/experience – Required
• CPA strongly preferred
• Prior Management of Accounting Processes – Required
• BS degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business accounting
