Description

The Marketing Experience Manager is essential in bolstering our gym's marketing initiatives, focusing on growing and retaining membership. This role is not just limited to marketing but also extends to providing exemplary customer service to members. Collaborating closely with both the marketing department and sales teams, the manager plays a pivotal role in executing national and local campaigns, significantly contributing to operational support enhancement. 

Key responsibilities include managing the member review and response systems, as well as overseeing the 'WeCare' email communications, a crucial tool for fostering member engagement and satisfaction. These strategies are integral to improving operational efficiency, enhancing brand image, and nurturing strong member relationships. The Marketing Experience Manager is a vital force in propelling business growth and elevating the overall member experience.

Requirements

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage review/response platform for all clubs. Maintain a positive NPS score within the clubs.
  • Maintain the national calendar of marketing activities through monthly creation and development of support materials and programs.
  • Manage the marketing planning and production process of marketing calendared events to ensure timely creation of campaigns and materials at least one month in advance.
  • Manage creative process with external agencies to support creative needs, social media and content.
  • Manage the WeCare Email program which helps foster member engagement and concerns with ongoing support. 
  • Provide support to internal departments with basic creative creation either in-house or through agency management.
  • Help support marketing for new club openings and those in presale.
  • Use Hubspot to create member and lead email campaigns for promotions or club informational emails. Track and report email health and performance.
  • Maintain “Competitive Analysis” database by market/location and by monitoring offers including competitive activities.
  • Develop and execute national and local social media plans through Facebook and Instagram. Drive social creative and messaging through brand standards.
  • Manage and provide support to social media agency through creative and content development in gym.
  • Work cross-functionally with the VP of Marketing, operations, sales and fitness services teams to execute tailored customer marketing strategies.
  • Test and learn to achieve the best results across customer marketing campaigns.
  • Support local marketing activities through content, creative and giveaway production as needed.
  • Manage regular reporting on campaign performance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate throughout the entire organization.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years in a multi-unit retail service or product organization – franchise organizations a plus.
  • Keen eye to preserve integrity and voice of our brand and messaging throughout the entire campaign development process.
  • Track record of multi-channel campaign execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on approach. Able to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with teams to ensure the highest quality deliverables.
  • Self-starter with a project management mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management across multiple internal and external resources.
  • Adobe suite experience (Photoshop and Illustrator) – 4 out of 10 familiarity and skill.
  • Canva familiarity.
  • Hubspot email/CRM program use and understanding.
  • Experience working remotely with distributed teams.
  • Ability to build rapport with, and gain the confidence of, entire organization to quickly integrate into the current team while adapting to, and fostering, the TruFit’s culture.
  • Passion for Health & Fitness.
  • Fitness industry experience a plus.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field combined with a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience is required for this position.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position which is exposed to typical office working conditions.   • Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
  • Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office and/or gym environment.

Work Location

The Marketing Manager position is required to check into the Corporate Office daily or to a pre-assigned club location. This position will have occasional daily/overnight travel to local/regional gyms. The ideal candidate will be based in San Antonio, TX.
