The role: 

We’re looking for an experienced Senior User Experience Designer to join our team . As part of a new Concur Travel team, you'll help build the next-generation travel-booking experience across our mobile and web apps, ensuring that Concur’s travel tools meet a high standard of usability and design excellence that supports elegant and simple user experiences. You'll also work closely with other designers and design teams to review each other’s work and contribute to UX processes and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Create and iterate designs for new features and enhancements, from concept through detailed mockups and delivery. 

• Communicate and collaborate with your UX peers and agile teammates to ensure user and project goals are met. 

• Actively learn and synthesize our customers’ needs and pain points, and use them to inform your work. 

• Advocate for our users and evangelize user-centered design practices and usability across the organization. 

• Learn, develop, and deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience as a UX designer or product designer, ideally including work on mobile platforms and consumer-facing projects. 

• Demonstrated interaction design skills and knowledge of user-centered design principles for both UI and interaction design. You can think in terms of flows, not just individual screens. 

• Demonstrated skills with communicating detailed product designs and specs to design teammates, engineers, and product managers in an agile environment. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to present your design choices and the trade-offs involved clearly and persuasively to your team and other stakeholders. 

• Experience with the entire design cycle, from concept ideation to dealing with last-minute issues during development. 

• Skilled with common design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision and Zeplin. 

• Extra: Experience with design systems, experience designing for accessibility.
