JOB PURPOSE: The Senior Accounting Manager’s primary purpose is to provide strategic financial guidance and leadership, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. The Senior Accounting Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to drive financial performance and support organizational goals. This role encompasses the preparation of comprehensive financial reports and analysis, adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards, and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. By delivering actionable insights to senior management, you will play a critical role in facilitating informed decision-making and driving the company's continued success.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•  Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the accounting team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
•  Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for presentation to senior management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
•  Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance and providing variance analysis to support decision-making.
•  Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights into key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
•  Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
•  Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and accounting procedures, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
•  Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including finance, operations, and sales, to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
•  Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing documentation and assistance as needed to ensure audit readiness.
•  Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for presentation to the CEO and executive team.
•  Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
•  Lead or support special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, contributing financial expertise and insights to drive successful outcomes

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• •  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience (8-10 years) in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
