Our large manufacturing client located in Peoria, Illinois, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer, to add to their team.
Position's Contributions to Work Group:
- Develop Industrial and electric power engine feature offering for C13D (new engine).
- Support platform leader with modeling, presentation material, tracking of components, and price list creation, and data entry.
Typical task breakdown:
- Basic 3D modeling of engines using Creo (mostly creating assemblies)
- Check models for feature compatibility, completeness, clearance, duplicates.
- Create or maintain PowerPoint, Excel, Word documents.
Interaction with team:
- Daily interaction with platform leader to receive assignments.
Work environment:
Typical office environment with telepresence meetings.
Education & Experience Required:
- Engineering degree at accredited university. Mechanical or Ag engineer preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in field; internship experience is included
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Basic 3D modeling
- PowerPoint, Excel, and Word proficiency.
(Desired)
- Familiarity with engines.
- Prior mechanical component design experience
Soft Skills
(Required)
- Effective communication (verbal and written)
