Project Manager, Land Survey
As our Project Manager, Land Survey, you will support the Land Survey Team's operations by managing resources for office and field to meet production deadlines. You will have the opportunity to provide staff mentorship & guidance, manage multiple projects, maintain QA/QC checks & balances of mapping quality, track budgets and schedules, and see projects to successful completion.
The Project Manager, Land Survey, will manage staff and oversee all types of projects including:
Transportation Design, Right of Way Engineering and Mapping, Design Surveys, Construction, ALTA Surveys, Topographic Mapping, Boundary Resolution, Records of Survey, Legal Description preparation and GPS Control Surveys.
Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide project management, technical oversight, and strategic direction, while accomplishing the strategic marketing plan objectives and achieving performance and profitability targets
• Prepare scopes of work with associated fees and schedules, negotiate contracts including additional services, prepare presentations, proposals, respond to RFP's and RFQ's, and assist with recruiting, retention, and interviews
• Use your knowledge of land surveying/mapping to support the technical work of other surveyors, CAD drafters, and sub-consultants

Education/Requirements:

• Licensed Land Surveyor in California.
• 5-10 years of progressively responsible Land Survey experience.
• 3 years of experience in Project Management.
• Proficient in Industry Standard Software and Management Tools.
• Possess the desire and ability to develop and maintain industry client relationships in the Southern California market.
• Familiarity with State and County Mapping requirements.
