CORE Consulting, LLC is Hiring a Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift (18377) Near Waukesha, WI
*$2.00 shift premium for 2nd shiftEssential Duties and Responsibilities(Including the following, however, additional duties may apply as required)
- Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including auxiliary equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and complete repairs that arise from the inspection.
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing required PPE, as established by the company
- Repairs machines efficiently to minimize production down time
- Performs miscellaneous repairs to facility
- Experience overseeing outside contractors
- Work from prints, plans, sketches, and layouts
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment
- Working knowledge of electric and hand operated tools, drills, grinders, and presses
- Close attention to detail
- Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with 2-5 years industrial maintenance experience. Technical degree preferred.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings, along with basic computer skills is required.
- Stand/walk/bend for long periods of time
- Work from heights when required
- Electrical knowledge preferred
- Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane and forklift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
