- Lead and manage a team of 15 accounts payable professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approval workflows, and payment disbursement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries promptly.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable department.
- Lead the month-end closing process, reconciling accounts payable accounts and preparing reports for senior management.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate payment terms, and resolve vendor issues or disputes.
- Continuously monitor and assess the performance of the accounts payable team, implementing training and development programs as needed.
- Prepare and present financial reports related to accounts payable to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least [X] years in a leadership or managerial role.
