CoralTree Hospitality is Hiring a Remote Assistant Director of Finance

Overview

Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Finance to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Director of Finance will oversee the financial operations for all properties in Vail. This role directly oversees the financial reporting, accounting, tax and risk management functions for our Vail properties. The Assistant Director of Finance oversees financial reporting and provides leadership support to one accountant. Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the creation and oversight of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and strategic insight.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations to guide the financial trajectory of the company.
  • Engage actively with department heads to delve into financial statements and forecasts, fostering a culture of financial awareness and responsibility.
  • Oversee and authorize all company disbursements, ensuring fiscal responsibility and organizational integrity.
  • Craft comprehensive reports that not only summarize but also forecast the company's business activities, financial standing, and potential in terms of income and expenses, drawing from historical data and future projections.
  • Play a pivotal role alongside the Director of Finance in budget preparation and presentation, blending analytical acumen with strategic vision.
  • Oversee the robust fixed asset system, ensuring optimal utilization and tracking of organizational resources.
  • Be an integral part of strategic planning and management meetings, bringing financial expertise to the table.
  • Lead the accounting and budgeting efforts for capital expenditures, ensuring they align with long-term goals.
  • Direct all aspects of HOA accounting and financial reporting, upholding the highest standards of accuracy and transparency.
  • Present financial reports to owners and HOA’s, translating complex financial data into understandable insights.
  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable and Payable processes with the support of the accounting team, streamlining operations for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Cultivate a dynamic team environment focused on teamwork, personal and professional growth, and autonomy.
  • Collaborate with People Services to build and maintain a high-performing finance team, including conducting regular reviews and leading recruitment efforts when necessary.

Location: This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of 2 days/month spent at our offices in Vail, CO. Option to office out of our brand-new office located in Englewood, CO. Candidate should be based in Colorado.

Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000/yr. bonus
