Toyota Service Manager
Job Requirements:
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, high level of motivation.
- At least 2 years Automotive Retail Service Manager experience required.
- Toyota or Lexus experience is a plus.
- Reynolds & Reynolds DMS experience is a plus.
- ASE Certification (C1) - preferred but not required.
- High volume service department experience a plus.
- Proven track record in CSI and professional work ethic is a must.
- Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction results.
- Valid in-state driver’s license with good driving record.
- Submit to and successfully complete Motor Vehicle Record Check, Background Check, and Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervising and monitoring Service Advisors and service drive.
- Answers technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
- Assists in diagnosing vehicle problems.
- Maintaining and growing the service department.
- Oversees administration of warranty claims.
- Oversees training and supervising of service department employees.
- Works with upper management to make service department hiring and discipline decisions. Sets schedules and assigns tasks to service department employees.
- Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards.
- Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain effective employee relations.
