Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your role will involve surveillance, loss prevention, and conflict management. Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Enforce property rules and regulations
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify security risks
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Skills:
- Strong surveillance skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in security procedures is a plus
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a background check
