Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential threats
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs
- Perform regular inspections of equipment, such as fire extinguishers and emergency exits, to ensure they are in proper working order
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security-related issues
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation of all security-related activities

Requirements:
- Valid security certificate or license is required
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security is preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and access control systems is a plus
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to perform first aid/CPR in emergency situations is highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
