Job Summary:
The Commercial Territory Sales Manager is responsible formanagingcommercial customers and will demonstrateexecutive-level administrative, marketing, and influencing skills. As a field/outside commercialsalesperson, customer relationships will be developed through face-to-face interactions and over the phone. They will provide excellent service and knowledge on products appropriate to enhance sales growth and relationships in the commercial marketplace. This position supports distributors, dealers, and contractors with valued solutions. This role is responsible for cascading our Customer Solutions Business Strategy with their actions. The Commercial Territory Sales Manager will join our mission to "Make the tech in the truck more efficient" and embrace our vision to "Enhance lives through solutions."

Essential Functions:
Contacts existing and prospective commercial customers to uncover and clarify needs & opportunities
Positions Johnstone products and services as a strategic advantage to customers
Recommends products to customers based on customers' business needs to increase sales and maintain targets
Establishes and grows relationships with key people and decision-makers with all customers
Monitors market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
Develops territory and sales plans to target key customers and prioritize sales activities
Maintains knowledge of new and existing commercial products by participating in multiple learning media
Responsible for hitting personalsales budget
Understanding the unique value proposition that we have to offer as Johnstone Supply
Reporting to leadership on activity in the assigned market with regular communication
Reviewing local numbers and sales trends to identify both opportunities and threats
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:

Skill in using web-based tools to research products and information
Knowledge of HVAC products, concepts, and industry as a wholepreferred
Qualifications:
An associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism
2 years of experience as a Sales and/orService Associate in HVAC or similar industry preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC products, processes, services, customers, and decision-makerspreferred
A valid state driver's license and safe driving record required
Strategic planning, organization, communication, presentation, and connectivity skills
Understand margin, P&L, and how to drive unparalleled success in these areas
Able to travel to multi-cities and states, including overnights
Outstanding performance-based acumen, as well as proven leadership and relationship building skills
