Our CGC White Bear Lake location is currently seeking a Customer Service Rep to join our team. This position’s essential functions:
- Excellent written and oral communication with customers, sales reps, plant personnel, freight handlers, by a variety of methods in a positive, energetic and consistent professional manner.
- Create and maintain price, delivery quotations and customer orders in the company’s internal database, with completeness and accuracy.
- Expedite the order process and respond to customer requests such as price quotations, and order status updates, even if under stress or deadlines.
- Screen order to ensure accuracy, completion and basic technical requirements, and confirm received orders by customers in a timely manner.
- Resolve technical problems through application of own knowledge, or by transferring issues to a technical specialist. Maintain all customer related records, and specifications in a quality management database.
Skills such as the ability to problem solve quickly under pressure, a functional knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and products such as Word and Excel, and general computer software understanding are also required for this position.
