Printing Plate Maker

White Bear Lake, MN

Our CGC White Bear Lake, MN location is currently seeking a Printing Plate Maker/Mounter (experienced or entry level) to join our team. This position will require:

Review customer orders, specifications, and drawing samples to assemble the required material for the mounting job to be completed.
Ability to visually perceive errors in films and finished plates. Must be able to read an order, comprehend drawing, layouts and samples.
Visually inspect finished printing plates for variance, upon completion of mounting, ink the plates and run final proof for customer.
Ability to read and mark measurements down to a sixty-fourth of an inch. Ability to perceive forms based upon folding, bending, and manipulating surfaces.
Ability to recognize problems which interfere with any objectives above, and effectively communicate with peers and key decision makers to resolve.
Lifting up to 45lbs.
