ConstructTech Design Build is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Norfolk, VA

Construction Project Manager:

As a Construction Project Manager at ConstructTech, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing all projects on time and within budget. You would be joining the project management team to manage all aspects of our construction projects.

Job Description:

The Construction Project Manager works directly for the Vice President of Operations and will be responsible for planning and execution of all construction projects. As Construction Project Manager, you will collaborate with customers, stakeholders, project management team members, design team members, and construction site foremans. You will assist with planning, organizing, and managing day to day operations of active projects, as well as, preparing RFQs, Bids, and project financials.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interfaces with customers and the project team to understand project requirements
  • Develops pre-construction financials, RFQs, and schedules
  • Ensures fair treatment of subcontractors at all times
  • Manages overall project logistics
  • Conducts project meetings and sets milestones and owner reports
  • Develops and updates project schedules; ensuring project quality control and adherence to standards of safety; ensuring required documentation is up-to-date
  • Creates and manages project budget for all assigned projects
  • Executes job processes (RFI’s, contract change orders, quality control)
  • Manages the closeout process

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Construction Project Manager position you must have construction experience, excellent communication skills, and knowledge on how to prepare cost estimates. Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management, construction management, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction or related trades industry.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and experience with project management software tools.

Experience Level: 2-5 years

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00

Job Type: Full-time
